Your Consultation Experience

When you arrive you’ll be greeted by name by one of our friendly patient care coordinators, who’ll check you in and ask you to fill in a brief new patient form.

After a short wait, you’ll be taken through to one of our treatment rooms, where an experienced dental assistant will have a chat with you about your dental and medical history and any concerns you have about your teeth.

We’re a non-judgmental practice (there’s not much we haven’t seen or heard!) with compassionate, well-trained staff who listen and who want you to feel comfortable in answering questions honestly and openly.

Your notes will be handed on to your dentist, who’ll then have a gentle look through your mouth, and take x-rays and photos where required. Your dentist will explain all your options clearly, and work with you to create a personalised treatment plan.

Drift Away Sensory Management

The dentist chair isn’t traditionally the most fun place to spend time – even if the end result is exciting – but we’ve set out to change that with our Drift Away service.

After thoroughly explaining your procedure and answering any questions you may have, we’ll get you set up with a soft blanket and noise cancelling headphones. All you have to do then is kick back, choose a movie from our extensive collection, and relax – not a drill to be heard.

Whether you’re a nervous patient, booked in for a long or involved procedure, or simply wanting to catch up on some R&R while we take care of your teeth, Drift Away makes dental treatment more enjoyable than you could have imagined (all that’s missing is the popcorn!).

Sleep dentistry

Your Post-Treatment Care Experience

Our care for you doesn’t end with your procedure. It’s important to us that our patients are comfortable and happy post-treatment, so the day after your procedure we’ll give you a call to check in and see how you’re going.
We’ll also set up a 10 day post-treatment appointment to make sure everything is working as it should and that you’re happy with the results.

We take an active maintenance approach to care, which means we’ll schedule ongoing check-ups with you at either six or 12 month intervals, depending on your stage of life, lifestyle, and condition of your teeth.
